Piper is excited to announce that she will be performing at the upcoming Rakkasah Spring Caravan.

The festival, the largest of its type of the East Coast, features some of the finest belly dancers from dancers from around the world and across the country! Throughout the three-day weekend, hundreds of performers will demonstrate the grace and beauty of Middle Eastern dance in many of its exciting forms.

From sparkles and sequins to earthy gypsy skirts, dancers will display a wide variety of costumes and styles of dance influenced and inspired by the Middle East. Piper will be performing her own artistic tribal fusion style

If anybody plans to be in summerset New Jersey area, stop by the performance on either night.

The family-friendly festival also features live music and an exciting bizaar of belly dancing and Middle Eastern jewelry, CDs, DVDs and of course, costuming!

February 17th - Javanese Court Dance as well as Bharatanatym with Danielle Workshop

2PM-4PM $30 for 2 hour workshop ($25 for students of Pineapple Studio)

Sign up for a wonderful workshop being taught by instructor Danielle Meijer. Danielle specializes in instruction and performance of the classical dances of South India, Indonesia, and the Middle East as well as an original and mindful fusion of these forms. She will be reviewing her technique that will help improve posture and arms, (to help with snake arms).
Danielle will also cover Javanese Court Dance as well as Bharatanatyam. These dance styles will help with head placement, eyes, and facial comportment, along with posture and snake arms.
